Pro CIAAP e.V. thanks for donations

Thanks to generous donations the set up of the CIAAP model-project could be finished in year 2005. Thus the foundations of a successfull work for local farmers could be laid.

 

Invitations for visits, guided tours and seminars on the model-project site  were inquired by the local farmers above-average. This way a great number of farmers were enabled to have access to fundamental information about agricultural production and to receive insights into important integrated farming concepts for the first time. Also in the name of the local farmers we like to express our thanks to the donators.

 

Entry in a new project-phase

With an early entry in a new project-phase in January 2006 and the so far rapid progress of the development activities, the project currently is, beyond all expectation, in the position of getting away soon from financial grants. In the sense of a sustainable development the project bets on self-responsibility and motivation of the farmers in realizing new ideas. In this phase CIAAP acts in cooperation with extentionists of the city agriculture office of the islands capitol exclusively on a consulting level. It is therefore requested to suspend donations for the time beeing.
